I lived in the states until I was 17 years old and then came back to the UK in 1987 to finish high school.
I have been in to Volkswagons from and early age, and began work for a VW dealer at the age of 19. After a few years I decided I wanted to work more in restoration, and went to work for a Triumph restorer near Swindon, where I learnt the skills I use today.
After a few years I decided my heart wasn't in Triumphs so went back to my roots in VW's working for myself.
Now I'm 42, I find myself edging more towards custom builds, turbo-charging and brakes etc. I work to a very high standard with safety in mind first. I have no interest in doing patch ups or quick bodges just to get the vehicle finished or through an MOT. If you're going to do it right then do it right!
